have the time=)

OKAY! so i'm back from an extremely loooooooong time of blog MIA-ness(if theres such a word.. hehs)
well, school has'nt been all that hectic yet. but i try to make it a point to complete all my tutorials once i've attended the lecture.. so that i'd have more free time. SO YES! i'm currently slightly less busy than when i started.
So, anyways. alot of stuff happened this week. For u guys in LM hahahs.. u alr know anyway.
the most recent.. was TODAY!
its a really long story.. so try not to fall asleep.. ;)
well, what happened was that samantha, alison, wan ling and I decided to go out together for lunch. so we happily sixty-nined our way to tampines interchange to grab lunch. after we found a table, i happily skipped to the pig stomach soup store and ordered a bowl of "ZHU ZHA TANG"(pig's 'something' soup.. hehs, forgot what it was called...) So anyways.. I then happily skipped back to my table and put the tray of well, soup onto the table. Then.. the most AMAZNG THING HAPPENED! when samantha passed me my file.. i took it, and i somehow, one way or another.. hit my bowl, which happily fell to one side and sploshed ALL MY SOUPY ONTO MY SISTER's BUNNY!!! =O... as in.. the bunny bag.. so i officialy 'baptized my siter's poor bunny bag'... hahas.. so in the end.. my plan to stay in school and do work was utterly foiled, and i had to go AaaaaaLLLLL the way home to change my bag and get ready for LM... hahas.. so that was how my day went..

NOT TO MENTION.... i really thank God for crusade! =) they are a really fun bunch of people who really really love the Lord! and people whom i can talk to abt God=) wheeee~!

and i'm having japanese tutorial tomorrow! YAY! cant wait=D

OKAY! I FINALLY GOT A CHANCE TO POST!
school has been really fun the past 3 days...

wednesday: MY FIRST JAPANESE LECTURE! and bus stats... after my lecture i bumped into miss inez!! HAHAS=) have'nt seen her for like FOREVER! LIKE... 3 YEARS!!! hahas! then we had crusades... had fun meeting up with the crusaders=) its been a really long time since i've seen them.. so YEAH!! I MISS U GUYSSS!!! AND I DID PROMISE PRISCILLA THAT I'D ATTEND FROM NOW ON.. HAHAS...

thursday: okay.. the only highlight of this day was my japanese tutorial! well.. there was macroecons lecture as well. but there's really nothing much to report on that... just the extremely boring lecturer. But i made it through! YES! =D
well.. then had lunch at mensa with yew leng... after that, when she went for her french class, was prettybored, so i decided to finish my macro tutorial and happily went to the library to watch a movie! thanks to jia liang who taught me the day b4 how to borrow dvds and watch them in the library! hahahs!
then it was time for JAPANESE TUTORIAL! was so happily skipping to class.. hahas. then when i entered class, everybody was like so awkwardly quiet... well.. that was until the tutor started teaching=) Maiko Sensei! shes pretty and tall! and she wrote all our names in japanese for us.. (we had to intro ourselves) then we kinda went through the normal going through of presentation 1 and 2 stuff and all that.. and for presentation one, which is like an individual presentation, i'm gonna be presenting on tatami! which is on week 6... and we went through certain greetings and stuff... hahas=) i managed to make a friend!! so far... hahas=) charis! and she loves 'code geass' too! hahas.

friday: well thats today! yay! TGIF! just had an OB lecture.. it was pretty much like POM.. but it was okay=) oh well.. at least now i can look forward to a second week at school! =)

great lecturer

kids love to smile, and so do i! =)

yay! just got everything done. I'm utterly satisfied with myself for doing so many useful things today=)

first, after i got home, i slept! (cuz i had a bad bout of diahorrea.. *bleah*)

second, after i woke up, i went for dinner with my parents.. (i'm still not getting to the point aye?)

third, i packed my table! ITS AMAZINGLY CLEAN NOW=) not to mention neat.. =D
fourth, i wrapped my new books! the ones i decided to lug home today... almost 'died'. they were so heavy.. and it was such a warm DAY! so i thank God for sending the wind when i was walking home..
fifth, i did my accounting tutorial! FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE LAST SEM! *GASP*
and 6th, I ACTUALLY STILL HAVE TIME TO BLOG! HAHAKS!! so sorry yt if i took a long time to read your blog =) I was busy multi tasking! WHEEEE~!

school today was exceptionally funny...
we had this female malay lecturer whom we thought was extremely fierce. At 9:01 am she was like "HURRY HURRY! YOU GUYS ARE LATE FOR MY LECTURE! IT STARTS AT 9!"
and then everytime someone came in late, she would be like "HI THERE MISS! THANKYOU FOR BEING SO EARLY. IT IS NOW 9:15am. AND MY LECTURE STARTS AT 9. I'LL SEE YOU NEXT WEEK AT 8.50 OKAY?" hahas.. the last guy to come in was at 9.36am..
well. we thought that she'd be like PMSing her way through when she first started, but she turned out to be pretty nice=) not to mention funny... so at first when she announced that she was going to be our lecturer for the whole semester, imagine our response..."URRRGHHH..." hahahahs... but i guess we got used to the idea..

TOMORROW I'M STARTING MY FIRST JAPANESE LECTURE! YAYS! THANK GO DFOR EVERYTHING TODAY!

ooh.. and i happened to see seah on the bus today..hahas.. did'nt get a chance to say hi, cuz she was sleeping... and by the time she woke up, i had to poof off the bus.. and the bus was extremely crowded as always.. GO 969....

okaay:) i'm back!

anyways... today school was great for me. even though it was a mere two hours, i can say that i thoroughly enjoyed myself=) i really wanna thank God. cuz for those of you who know why i was'nt really enjoying sch last sem(the later part) i was kinda worried that it would carry over to this sem. but i really thank God! cus as i was on the bus on the way to school, i just dedicated my whole day to Him. i just told Him, "God, no matter what happens, or how I feel, i am going to put my trust and security in You." because when all else fails, God will be the one who stands firm. So yep! i really enjoyed the marketing fundamentals lecture. the lecturer was'nt too bad. and after the lecture, samantha(my classmate. not samantha ooi.. hahas), alison and i were like moving from lecture theatre to lecture theatre, checking out the time schedules. Cuz samantha's CD was like at 6-7pm on weds.. when classes end at like 1... so obviously no one wants to stay back...hahas. so we managed to find a lec slot on friday.

anyways, due to deepavali... all my monday classes have to be shifted... and they all got slot next friday! which means i have a full 9am-6pm day... with a 1hr break from 1-2pm... i hope i'll have the strength to pay attention throughout the day...!
so yepps=) im gonna sleep soon! cuz i start class tomorrow at 9! and its business acct.. so i don't wanna miss out! =D

TS TODAY! school starts today! i'm officially now more happy than anything else... hahas.. The above pic was a picture i drew early last sem... and it depicts 1B06! my tut class. a bunch of really fun people with really fun attitudes! well, i hope i'll be able to handle school and school work better than last sem. I'm gonna keep a "No More Slacking! (NMS)" attitude. And I'm gonna be early for ALL my classes this sem. and im going to have a "GAMBATTE" attitude as well! So this is me e(every)-semester resolution!

1. I'm gonna revise everydays work when i get home

2. i'm not gonna slack on tutorial work

3. i'm aiming to get at least one A in my current semester

4. i'll be on time for all my classes

5. I'll keep a kingdom mindset

6. I'll still make time for bible study in the midst of all these

7. I'm gonna pay attention during class

8. i'm going to spend less time in front of the computer!(which means i may not post that oftern anymore*sobs*)

9. i'm gonna stay calm

its a sunday today!! woke up this morning, to the "SLOTHFULNESS IS A SIN!" scream from my dad... the typical wake up call if u wake up any later than 9am. followed by "GIRLS WAKE UP!" from my mum.. and it does'nt just happen faithfully on sundays, it happens every single day of the week we're not at school... hahas...

oh well, sooon settled down for lunch with the family at 12. it was DUM BRIYANI! with loads of papadum.. wheeee~! i pretty much stuffed the food down my throat. cuz i was kinda rushing to prepare for children's ministry, only to find out that my mum was doing this week... hurr....

left home for church at 1. THEN REALISED I FORGOT TO BRING MY CAPO!! and most of the songs today were in key F. ARGH! anyways, when we got to church, most of the equipment was already set up. whee! so just had to do the plug ins and abit of the sound check... hahas. i was frantically looking for a capo from someone.. an i found one more in my dad's guitar bag! SO THANK GOD! whew.. so during sound check i was on the spot transposing the songs down into E. and cuz i was sharing score with uncle thomas, i could'nt write it all down..hahahahas... so i had to actually on the spot transpose the songs=P i'm so proud of myself..hahahs.. jk.. all praise to God!




during sermon, aunty mei was preaching about walking in the light! and amazingly, it was one of the few times i didn't scribble on my paper! NOT ONCE! hahas

after church i had dinner with my grandparents(on my mum's side) and jeremy(my cousin). we ate at the amk porridge place=)
hahas.. then we were like telling each other lame stories.. totally random, then we got home... ended up half watching Spiderwick Chronicles on DVD...

so thats how i spent my last day of holidays... *sobs*


but i wanna thank a whole load of people for this holiday!

the saturday

okay... today was pretty rushed at first. thing is, i could not sleep last night(more like this morning).. and i ended up waking up at 12.55pm. to my horror realising that i was gonna b late for worship practice with uncle thomas at 1.30. so i was kinda panicking... rushed about trying to get changed and all that... ended up wearing the shirt i wore to sleep to youth! hahas... there u have it, the mickey mouse shirt was the one i wore to sleep... was trying to decide if i should take the bus or the taxi, by this time it was 1.07pm. My personal record time for getting ready=)

then decided to take a taxi. I KNOW. waste of money lah... im nvr gonna do that again..*mental note: wake up earlier by setting the alarm. THEN... i ended up having 3 taxis pass by me.. it was SO ANNOYING!! the first annoying taxi uncle made me lug the taylor guitar across the road(st 61) just to tell me he cant take me to SALVATION ARMY BISHAN.. RRRRR... then the next was taken up by someone who CUT MY QUEUE! RRRRRR.... the final one i missed was when i was flagging the cab, from across the road.. the uncle just looked at me and DROVE OFF! like what LAH! RRRRRRRR..... in the end this nice premier taxi uncle picked me up.. im officially slightly against comfort taxis... get it? uncomfortable with comfort taxis?

anyways... went to worship prac... then uncle thomas had all his songs in 'F'. And i did'nt bring my capo... hurr... so was pretty tiring playing all the F,Gm,Bb,Dm.. and so on and so forth... anyways... had a short meeting with the youth camp comm.. the games are gonna be uber fun guys! hahahs...

played for jess during youth worship.. and for some reason.. all the songs sounded okay during prac, but came out terrible for youth worship... and its not the first time!! its like the 3rd time already.. but im playing exactly the same way! *sigh* i'll have to work on that...

anddd... had class with the 'youngies' as jess like to call them.. took over the class today cuz jess had to do the camp registration form..hahas. it was really quite fun.. was reminding them about how the devil can speak lies into your mind, and how it is up to them to carry through with the lie or not. I hoped i made a point when i told them the reason y verses from the bible are impt. That you can use to word of God to rebutt the lies of the devil! Gave the example of "rejection". that when something small like your friends were planning a class outing to the cinema, but they accidently forgot to get u a ticket... how the process goes.. from your mind..the lies, to your heart, u start to believe that the lie is true, to the mouth or action.. when u start to act the lie, which inevitably becomes reality. Because u will start to withdraw from others and declare negative thoughts on yourself... and slowly and surely.. does'nt matter how long.. it will lead to u as a christian leading a defeated life, and thoughts of suicide may even come in. I kinda shared with abit of experience... cuz i once almost committed suicide(for some of u who don't know=)) but thats a story for another day. i did'nt share my testimony with them, but i shared from my heart... cuz i know these things are real...

Then i went on to give them James 4:7"submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you" and well.. teaching them about the battle in and for our minds...

then after youth, my mum, dad and i ate at the coffeshop near yishun safra. halfway through our dinner, there was some lion dance and some rituals going on.. so we quickly finished our dinner and walked home, cuz where we were, the noise was like OVERBEARING..

oh.. and btw, i was shocked... today as i was buying my food.. cuz theres this indian guy who spoke perfect mandarin! and even though i replied in english.. he kept speaking mandarin... SO COOL!! hahahahas... i think his mandarin is way... WAY better than mine..

i can't help but like hilary duff=) especially when i used to watch a whole lot of her movies... watching them again at yao ting's place was pretty nostalgic.. i guess.. and she is pretty... agree?

its channing tatum. okaay. so i'm not as crazy about cute guys as my sis is, but i guess he is really kinda CUTE=) have most of his shows on my creative.. Step Up, She's The Man and a few more... i think...

OKAY. Chad Michael Murray is... is.... well... u know... i can't say i've watched many of his movies... but the cinderella story was nice... he kinda reminds me of my cousin, Marc. Marc, if u're reading this(which i highly doubt) just ignore it OKAY?

i really dont know what to say about Oliver James. He has this cool look to him.. but i guess thats abt it... He's not all that hot.. In fact, he looks like a playboy... hahahas... and he looks a little like Abel Lam... the nose part...

hahas... so im not as into these cute guys as my sis is.. i think they're cute=) but.. other than that... no fantasies whatsoever... but i think the gals are pretty cool though... :) they've got their own individual style..

the last day of CHILL

i still think Hilary Duff is one of the better stars in hollywood=) i guess i just can't stop being her 'fan'...

Today i spent my last day chilling with Yao Ting at Bugis!

Met her at 4.. (supposed to be 3.30 though) Sry bout that ;)

Anyways, the reason for my being late is because my dad wanted me to label the new snake cable and the D.I.Pods or something. so YES! we got the snake! which means no more running around to balance the sound! wheeeee...~

so met yao ting at 4 at newton(AGAIN) hahas. then we headed 4 Bugis. Ate Chewy Juniors which was absolutely DELISHHH... i got the cookie oreo one =) then we ended up going to swee lee @ bras pasah. I love going to guitar shops:) well, anyway... just managed to try out a few ibanez and cort guitars cuz the place was so crowded. Did'nt really like them though, they all sounded a little too muffled and bright. Not my kinda sound. So we headed to the guitar store opp. Swee Lee.. Not the one that sells martin & co guitars.. the one beside that... That place was crowded as well.. but the guitars sounded better. Maybe cuz of the strings. then i somehow kept telling myself that one day i would own a Godin! WHEEE!

Soon after, we headed down to macs. Yao Ting had her SHAKER FRIES!! (WASABI FLAVOUR) hahas... she kept drinking water cuz it was hot...

once we were done with the fries we headed to Bugis Street=) i don't really like the place cuz its always a tad too crowded.. so anyways... we ended up walking round and round.. and faced a few interesting vendors.. like we walked into Zinc. and the intro of stop and stare was playing.. and yao ting was like.. "I know this song!... its... STOP AND STARE!" (she said it quite softly actually...) then the guy was like.. "How'd you know? Its my favorite song!" then YT and I were like.. "Errrrm".. it was totally awkward...

then i went to get some stuff and we headed back.. then realised we forgot to take photos!! so we ended up taking photos at the weirdest of places.. HAHAHAHAS... will post the pics when i get them frm yao ting =D then the funniest oart was when we took the train at bugis in the wrong DIRECTION!! GOSH! we took towards Pasir Ris instead of Boon Lay.. Good thing YT was like.. *GASP* "we are on the wrong train!" then the train lady speaker thingy was like "LAVANDER. LAVANDER" hahahas.. it was soooo funny!! anyways... THANKS YAO TING!! 4 CHILLING W me today!! =) see ya TOMORROWW!!!

timetable woes

TIMETABLE WOES

i just got my time table for the next semester! and i got into the cross disciplinary course of my choice! (Japanese) WHEEEE~! Thank God=)

the good thing is that for most of my days, i have 4hour days=)

monday: 12pm to 4pm

wednesday: 9am to 1pm

friday: 9am to 1pm

then... for the rest of em...

tuesday: 9am to 4pm(break between 1-3pm, followed by Org Beh)

thursday: 9am to 6pm (break between 1-4pm, followed by Japanese)

ahhh... thats the sad part about my elective, i have to stay back on thurs for 3 hours just to wait for the class... the worse part of it, is that it is at the Engine School~ =0.

but i really gotta thank God =) most of my lectures are at LT 23(lecture theatre 23) which is right in front to CHEERS! YAY! which means... nestle mocha coffee for me every break during lecture!

during the first week, we only have to attend the lectures=) which means, for the coming week, i have an average of 2hour days!

had a camp games meeting with joy and sam today.. really thank God cuz we came up with a WHOLE lot of great IDEAS! so u guys gotta come 4 the youth camp okay? its going to be nothing short of fun! (and a little dirty .. heh heh)

and school is starting soon, one side of me says "YAY! CAN'T WAIT!", and the other side is kinda like "OH SHITAKE MUSHROOMS! HOLIDAYS ARE OVER ALREADY?"so im kinda like happy.. okok.. i guess im more happy than not.. hehehs.. managed to buy some stuff to prep for school. i'm gona work doubly hard this semester to push up my grades! gotta JIA YOU! chop cut and ugly

just came back about an hour and a half ago from cineleisure. it was so fun lah. walking around with yao ting and elizabeth. ate some omelette noodle thingy at cine b4 heading over to HMV. We ended up walking around for like really long... ended up with yao ting buying only 2 clips.. heh heh! But suprisingly, i enjoyed it! Wheeeeee~ one step closer to becoming moree feminine.. i think... hmm..

b4 i met the 2 girls, went to popular to get the stuff for the youth pamphlet, made jess wait 45 mins!! GOMENASAI! so so sorry!!! ended up treating her to a pack of ice coffee =). then headed over to the church office after trying to get the file printed at the printer shop. could'nt get it done properly in the end, so had to like print seperate and paste the 4 A6 size thingys into one piece of paper and then print the master copy and so on... it was so brain stressing! in the end, only managed to cut up about half of the pieces after finishing the printing... and Jess was like.. "WAIT WAIT WAIT! DON'T MOVE! I'M HIGHLIGHTING!" cuz using the paper cutter made the table shake like ALOT! and she was studying.. ahahas... so sorry JESS! =) (again)

then i headed 4 newton where i met up with yao ting, then over to sommerset where we met LIZZY!(sry elizabeth! don't mind me calling u that )

it was pretty fun.. and fruitful coming to the end of it =) spent some time talking to lizzy abt the end times, and sharing my testimony of two years back! Also, i guess God helped me to understand my parents more... cuz at nine my mum called me while i was about to have dessert. And she was pretty upset about me being out so late... Strangely enough, i was'nt like upset or anything, i was just very sorry for making my parents worry. Cuz, they get angry with me for my sake right? so i was in the wrong... yep =) Thank God that everything turned out well... and that everyday, He's teaching me new things! WHOOHOO!!!

Yesterday was totally weird. After going out for a nice afternoon tea, when my parents got home they decided to give our dog yuki a D.I.Y haircut! O.O
so now the hair is awfully uneven and the her head seems somewhat bigger due to larger quantities of hair at the head.. hahahahas...

Last night Yao Ting had me watch Hot Shot... I thought it was okay... ended up halfway talking to people on in the chatbox though.. hahas.. met a few interesting people.. some others.. are just plain annoying! and i thought it was really interestingly cool that the coach was a pretty young lady! i was like SHOCKED when they called her 'jiao lian'(coach). Then there was that childish Da Ying.. he's like a little toot... but he was cool in the way he took all the blows from 13 pretty well.. just for his friend. The only thing was that everyone was flying around the court doing slam dunks which started from the free thow line.. = = and 13 was obviously already fouled out with all the whacking he did... hahas.. but its good for eye candy though(i have to admit).
ended up watching till 2am in the morning cuz the vid refused to load.

then this morning i recieved a strangely familiar nagging from my dad about waking up too late and not spending my day properly... well.. then again, he may be right! for those of u who love to sleep in, DON'T! cuz u'll become a piggy mixed with panda.. therefore.. piggy+panda= PANGY!
SO DON'T BECOME A PANGY! HEH HEH!

really miss the gals who left for overseas.. like Qi Hui (Aunty) and Zhen(Zhennie). All studying overseas.. hahas.. BUY BACK LOADS OF GOODIES WHEN U'RE COMING BACK!! MISS Y'ALL!!
tonight gnna be chilling with YT and Elizabeth @ Bugis.. hehs.. and i gotta go get paper 4 the pamphlet... yeah! gnna update later tonight

the last week of home

the two cuzzies(cousins) in the front!

just woke up at 12pm. it was pretty funny cuz i really did'nt want to get out of bed, but my dad dragged me out of the house for lunch! and i was like " urgh.. i gotta brush my teeth first..." then he was "NO NEED LAH! GO EAT ALREADY STILL MUST BRUSH" i finally replied and said"I GOTTA BRUSH! SO GROSS!" and suprisingly, he did'nt scream back! (phew)

well.. see the picture at the top of the blog? it was taken on sat! when we had old school games day. we were all running around like oversized kiddies.(haha) the passer-bys kept staring at us! it was kinda funny though.. cuz many of us had body aches after the whole event. so much for being young people...

we even played blind mice at the playground behind salvation army bishan. and the best part about it was seeing 20 youths standing on the slides and hanging here and there in utter silence trying to get away from the 'blind mouse'. it was awfully funny. especially when there was this uncle sitting at the nearby bench reading his papers and not bothering abt us. not to mention the young boy standing nearby watching us in bewilderment!

it was really really fun... but we missed a few people though... VIVIEN (@ the dentist), NICOLE, WEI LI(not sure if his name is spelt this way).. yep..

anyway, all the y0uths are done with their exams.. and their hols are starting while mine is ending! BOO HOO...

I guess its been a really really long time since i've actually had a chance to run with the Lord. And i just really wanna get to doing it again! Because i felt i had totally forgotten about something so important to me. Something so important that i threw aside without a second thought..

and i'm really sry Lord...

Well... i really really enjoyed myself with the girls yesterday @ yao ting's place! It was so fun with all of us laughing and criticing 2 Hilary Duff Movies. It was really really hilarious!
Plus, i could'nt seem to whack the fly with the fly electricutor(muahahahahahaha!).

Well.. it's 2am in the morning and i can't seem to gather my thoughts... i'll continue posting tomorrow then! =)
