a new year

okay. its been extremely busy lately, and i have'nt gotten a chance to post anything. if anyone actually reads that is... hah=)
wells... anyways. i've recently gotten into a habit of looking out for female christian artistes. firstly, because i find it hard to sing some of the songs that guys sing, cuz some of them sing from really low to really high... bummer...
secondly, cuz im looking to see how these peeps lead worship(: it doesnt hurt to pick up a few pointers here and there i suppose. i've surrently gotten myself hooked onto Brooke Fraser and to Israel and New Breed. If u can, check out their songs on YouTube(: really inspiring. as all of you know... im like... just turning 18 this May and i guess i still have alot to learn, from both the Holy Spirit and from other worship leaders(: so im praying to grow tremendously in the way i lead. And i definitely have to deal with this issue of pride that i have. i guess at times, when im standing on the stage, i get really into the "STARDOM" mode. so yep. thats something i pray i can get rid of.
Another thing is GUITAR RHYTHMS and STYLES. after awhile, i guess my style of playing has sorta 'hardened'? So yep, im observing various christian musicians to improve on my playing style=D.
Btw.. i think i have kinda stated my 2009 resolutions. haha. oops. but i got a feeling that this year is gonna be just great!
Below is the acoustic version of Lord of Lords by Brooke Fraser( the unedited version. cuz she had a few mistakes in there...) (: I wanna be able to write songs that declare the name of the Lord as well, besides those that i've already written that talks about my heart feelings to God... well.. i guess i still have to pray about it. and also especially about the band im still looking to set up... y does it seem so hard to find, a keyboardist, a bassist and a drummer who have the same vision i have...? oh well.. i guess i gtta just leave it to God.
